Director Zhang Lei proudly presents this joyful and colorful concert to celebrate this important anniversary . We are honored to present “Glittering Lights, Shining Flowers”, which was tailor-made for the Chinese Orchestra by Gu Guanren; the famous “Eight Hammers” percussion ensemble is invited to recreate the classic piece “Uproar in Heaven” from the “Journey to the West”, one of the four great Chinese classics. Renowned erhu virtuoso Yu Hongmei will present her new piece “The Yimeng Landscapes”, while the dazzling “Macao Rhapsody” will definitely captivate the audience. “All Embracing Oceans” is a grandeur and splendor closure for this wonderful concert.
