Chinese New Year is a time for celebration! The Chinese Orchestra invites the audience to experience the majestic atmosphere and profound flavor of the coastal prairie, and witness the joyful feeling of the mighty godmare speeding across the boundless land.
“Missing the Green” conveys the composer Li Bo Zen’s endless thoughts about the mountains and rivers. Famous pipa player Yang Jing performed Zhao Jiping’s Pipa Concerto No.2 in a flexible and energetic style. “United We Go” will be performed by five Cantonese music instruments and Orchestra, creating magnificent afterglows. “Mystical Horse” featured with the traditional Mongolian vocal music “khoomei” and the Morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) will be performed by Inner Mongolia Performer Mende, interpreting the unrestrained melody of the grassland.
