In 2003, the profound and remote art of Guqin was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. When the strings of the guqin are plucked, the sound is rich in historical flavor and cultural metaphor.
We invited the most influential contemporary Guqin master, Chen Leiqi, to lead this performance! Chen Leiqi, had played a stirring first note in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008; his performance was exquisite and meaningful. The concert will present a number of famous guqin pieces. Please come and listen to the murmur of nature and immerse yourself in a tranquil and peaceful realm.
