Chen Zuohui, a percussionist known as the Drum King of South China, composed Blooming Spring for Chaozhou gongs and drums. The piece presents exuberant scenes full of vitality in a bold, passionate manner, as if playing an inspiring, triumphant victory tune in the fight against the pandemic! The concert also features Guangdong wind and percussion music Lion Dance Drums, Chaozhou gongs and drums Boisterous Celebration, and many more drums, wind, and percussion works.
